TPD (Turns Per Day) varies by brand and movement. As a general guide: Rolex requires around 650–800 TPD, Omega 650–800 TPD, TAG Heuer 650–900 TPD, and Breitling 650–950 TPD. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value. How many watch winders do I need? One winder per automatic watch you don't wear daily. Our promise: if it says Aevitas on it, we will do our best to repair it — no matter how old it is. Most other winder brands do not offer repairs at all; they will typically offer you a discount on a more expensive  replacement instead. We think your winder deserves better than that.

How Our Repair Service Works

Get in touch. Contact us through the website with your winder's model name and a description of the fault — for example, a rotor that has stopped turning, unusual noise, or a display that no longer lights up. Photos or a short video of the problem help us diagnose it faster.
Diagnosis. Our technicians assess the fault and confirm what needs to be done. We will give you a clear, fixed quote before any work begins — no surprises, and no obligation if you decide not to proceed.
Repair. Once you approve the quote, send your winder to us (we will advise on safe packing). Our workshop carries parts for current and many discontinued Aevitas models, including motors, control boards and rotors.
Return. Your winder is tested thoroughly after repair — rotors run through full cycles before it leaves the workshop — then shipped back to you, ready for years more service.

This is also where we differ from much of the industry. Several well-known winder brands do not operate a repair service at all — if your unit fails outside warranty, the standard offer is a discount on a new purchase. We believe a premium product deserves premium aftercare, so we repair rather than replace wherever possible.

How much does a repair cost?

It depends on the fault and the parts required. A straightforward motor replacement is typically a modest fixed fee, while electronic board repairs vary by model. Contact us with your model name and a description of the problem and we will give you a clear, fixed quote before any work begins — with no obligation.

My winder is years out of warranty. Can you still repair it?

Yes. Our repair service covers every Aevitas-brand winder we have ever made, regardless of age. Being out of warranty simply means the repair is chargeable; it never means we turn you away.

Can you repair other brands of watch winder?

No — our workshop only services Aevitas-brand winders. We carry parts and technical knowledge specific to our own products, which is what allows us to repair them reliably. We cannot service units from other manufacturers.

How long will the repair take?

Most repairs are diagnosed within a few working days of arrival. Simple part replacements are usually completed within one to two weeks; complex electronic faults can take longer if components need sourcing. Your quote will always include an honest turnaround estimate.

How do I get my winder to you?

Once you have approved your quote, we will advise on safe packing and the best way to ship your winder to our workshop. Winders should be well cushioned with the rotor secured; we will talk you through it when you contact us.

What if my winder cannot be repaired?

This is rare, but if a unit is genuinely beyond economical repair — for example, due to severe damage — we will tell you honestly and explain your options, which may include a discount on a replacement Aevitas model. You will never be charged for a repair we cannot complete.
