What Is Covered

During the warranty period, we will repair or replace — at our discretion — any Aevitas winder that develops a fault under normal use, including:

Motors — rotation motors that fail or develop faults.
Mechanics — rotors, gears, belts and drive assemblies.
Electronics — control boards, displays, touchscreens and internal wiring.
Power components — supplied mains adapters.
Manufacturing defects — any fault in materials or workmanship.

What Is Not Covered

Like all warranties, ours covers faults — not damage. The following are excluded:

Accidental damage — drops, impacts, liquid damage or other mishaps.
Misuse — use outside the product's stated specifications or operating instructions.
Unauthorised modification — any repair or alteration not carried out by Aevitas.
Consumables — batteries in remote controls or battery-powered units.
Normal wear of finishes — minor cosmetic wear from regular handling over time.
Non-Aevitas products — the warranty applies only to genuine Aevitas-brand winders.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Contact us through the website with your order details (or proof of purchase), the model name, and a description of the fault. A photo or short video helps us diagnose it quickly.
We assess. Our team will confirm whether the fault is covered and advise the next steps — many issues can be resolved with guidance, a replacement part, or a return for workshop repair.
Resolution. Covered faults are repaired or the unit replaced at our discretion, with return shipping handled as agreed. We aim to resolve claims as quickly as possible with minimum disruption to you.

Out of Warranty? We Can Still Help

A warranty ending does not mean the end of support. Aevitas operates a full watch winder repair service covering every Aevitas-brand winder we have ever made — even units bought many years ago. If your winder develops a fault outside the warranty period, we will diagnose it, quote you a fair fixed price, and repair it in our own workshop wherever possible.

This is something most winder brands simply do not offer. Where others will offer you a discount on a new unit, we will fix the one you already own and love.

Does the warranty cover accidental damage?

No. The warranty covers faults in materials, workmanship, motors, mechanics and electronics under normal use. Accidental damage — drops, impacts, liquid ingress — is not covered, though our repair service can usually fix it for a fair price.

My winder is out of warranty. What are my options?

Use our repair service. We service every Aevitas-brand winder ever made, regardless of age. We will diagnose the fault, give you a fixed quote, and repair it in our workshop wherever possible.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell or gift my winder?

The warranty applies from the original date of purchase. If you sell or gift your winder, the remaining warranty period transfers with it — just pass on the proof of purchase to the new owner.
