I'd been looking for a winder for some time and finally took a punt on this one. It looks very smart and well made.I had read all about it on line, which was good since the only paperwork that came with it was a cardboard sheet with a mention of a non-transferable 2 year warranty. I tried it with the batteries to start (Energizer max plus) with an Omega Seamaster but it stopped after 5 days, the batteries were dead. Anyway it's now been running for 2 weeks on the mains with a Rolex perpetual and is fine. This is my first experience of a watch winder, so I don't know how long others last on batteries. So if you lock it away in a safe for a weeks holiday it may not been still running. To conclude I'm really satisfied with my purchase.

Hello Paul, Thank you for the feedback. We have tested these on 650 TPD in Both Directions with a set of 2 x New AA Duracell Batteries with a Rolex DeepSea (very heavy watch). The watch ran perfectly for 2 weeks so I assume your batteries were not new. I agree ideally a Watch Winder should be run on mains power where possible, but the battery feature is handy if you wish to hide the watch away for short periods.
